Sunday School
Christian education for children and youth is offered during the 10:15 am service. We gather after the reading of the Gospel. Nursery care is also available during the main service.
The Elementary school class uses a combination of Godly Play and David Cook’s curriculum. Godly Play is a Montessori-based exploration of Bible stories. Cook’s elementary curriculum offers fun, engaging crafts and resources to connect kids to their faith.
The Senior Class uses David Cooks’ Bible-in-Life curriculum, engaging teens with Bible-study and discussion. Cook’s curriculum seeks to challenge teens to make their faith personal, authentic, and integrated into their lives.
Confirmation Classes are offered once a year for parishioners age 16 or older who wish to make a public adult confession of faith before the Bishop and the wider diocesan community.
Episcopalians believe that all the baptized can receive the Eucharist, regardless of their age. However, a class on the Eucharist can be offered by the priest for parents who wish their children to prepare for a
First Communion.
